AMIQ EDA Unveils New Verilog and VHDL Design-Oriented Diagrams

The new diagrams enable both design and verification engineers to easily visualize, explore, and understand RTL code.
The DVT Eclipse IDE is a complete and powerful code development environment for the design and verification languages e, SystemVerilog, Verilog, Verilog-AMS and VHDL. It is built on the Eclipse Platform and includes an IEEE standard-compliant parser, which continuously runs in the background. The tool integrates within a single window a smart code editor with a comprehensive set of features that help with code inspection, navigation, documentation, and debugging.
The internal diagrams engine was completely redesigned to offer significant performance and usability improvements, and to provide a solid foundation for advanced features.
Users can visualize the structure of their designs at the highest level using the block or flow representations, or dive into the details using nested schematic views. In addition, to further simplify debugging, dedicated trace diagrams help users visualize how a signal propagates through the design hierarchy.
The automatically generated diagrams can also be used for documentation purposes.
