Chapter 17. Syntax Coloring

Source code is colored in the DVT editor. Some language constructs are colored based on a syntactical analysis of the code, while others require a more elaborate semantic analysis. Semantic coloring is only performed when the source code is compiled.

In order to make use of the DVT syntax coloring, you need to enable a DVT custom theme. Use the Preferences: Color Theme command and select either DVT Light or DVT Dark to enable specific syntax coloring.

You can easily enable/disable Semantic Highlight from File > Preferences > Settings > Text Editor > Semantic Highlighting: Enabled.
